Using dicto

dicto is a simple utility that displays what you say or type as large, on-screen text. It is provided on an "as is" basis. You are responsible for the words you choose to show and for using the app lawfully and respectfully toward the people around you.

Your content is yours

dicto requires no account and stores nothing on our servers. Whatever you display is created by you, on your device, and disappears when you close the app. We do not see, keep, or moderate it, and we are not responsible for how the app is used or for any content shown through it.

App Store terms

Your use of dicto is also covered by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"), which applies to apps downloaded from the App Store.

No warranty

dicto relies on Apple's on-device speech recognition, which is not perfect and may misrecognize words. To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any loss arising from its use. Do not rely on dicto where a transcription error could cause harm.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time and will revise the effective date above when we do.
