dicto introduces Solo: voice isolation for fluid conversation

BHB Technologies today released Solo, a new feature in dicto. Hold the microphone button while you speak and Solo enrolls your voice for the session. Voice-isolation technology is then used to focus dicto on your voice and ignore other voices nearby. Solo was built in response to requests from dicto users.
dicto now assists conversation in two ways. The original press-to-talk dictation suits a quick exchange: press, speak, show. Solo is for conversations that go back and forth, where reaching for a button at every turn gets in the way. Enroll once at the start and the conversation carries on with your hands free, so a carer can keep working while they talk with a resident instead of stopping to tap the screen for each reply.
Solo keeps dicto's privacy promise. Your voice is recognised on the device itself, using openly-licensed speech models built into the app: no third-party service, and no internet connection at any point in the process. Nothing is recorded, nothing is sent, and your voice profile exists only for the length of the conversation.
